While the type of and ideas covered at RENOVARÉ Conferences occasionally varies—for example, in summer 1999 RENOVARÉ sponsored an International Conference in Houston, Texas, based on Dallas Willard's book The Divine Conspiracy: Rediscovering Our Hidden Life in God — the primary gatherings are Regional Conferences and Local Conferences and related organizational events (see the Upcoming Conference and Events).

Regional Conferences are Friday night and Saturday day gatherings during which we discuss grace, spiritual disciplines, the RENOVARÉ Traditions (Contemplative, Holiness, Charismatic, etc.), and Spiritual Formation Groups, all surrounded by worship representative of the many centuries of the Christian Church. Featuring two RENOVARÉ speakers, Regional Conferences are co-sponsored by 12 or more churches in a particular region that represent a variety of Christian denominations and traditions and racial, ethnic, and economic backgrounds. Regional Conferences provide practical instruction and inspiration in our life with God for both individuals and congregations.

Local Conferences feature only one RENOVARÉ speaker, but the information presented is basically the same—namely talks on grace, the RENOVARÉ Traditions, and Spiritual Formation Groups. One-day events, these are sponsored by one or more churches.

RENOVARÉ does not seek out towns and cities in which to hold our conferences. Rather, we wait for interested individuals, churches, and organizations to contact us and express interest. This serves as a type of discernment, providing confidence that each event is desired by those where the gathering for teaching and encouragement will be held. A new event resource is Dimensions for Discipleship: A Christian Spiritual Formation Curriculum for the Denver/Boulder Metro Area. Taught by Denver/Boulder area resource people and based on the six Traditions emphasized by RENOVARÉ, the Dimensions curriculums offers a course on each Tradition each quarter—Fall, Winter, and Spring—at churches throughout the metro area.
