Sarah Berlin
An Episcopal Priest, interim rector, spiritual director, and retreat leader, Sarah was a Canon Pastor at St. John's Cathedral, Denver, for over 15 years, training and supervising Caring Ministers, and has authored Caring Ministry: A Contemplative Approach to Pastoral Care.
Michelle Brown
A graduate of the Eastman School of Music with a Master's Degree in Education from the State University of New York, Michelle has taught general music, choir, and Spanish, and has lead worship at her home church for much of the past 20 years, and now serves as a medical missionary in the Dominican Republic.
Mindy Caliguire
The author of Discovering Soul Care, Spiritual Friendship, Simplicity, Soul Searching, and Write for Your Soul (with Jeff Caliguire), Mindy is the Founder and President of Soul Care, has been on staff at numerous churches, and consults with congregations on integrating spiritual formation as a foundational paradigm.
Glandion Carney
Author of Heaven Within These Walls, Creative Urban Youth Ministries, and Missing Peace, and co-author of five other books, Glandion helped found "Centrepoint: A Community for Spiritual Formation" in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and is Chaplain for the Christian Legal Society.
James Catford
Chief Executive of British and Foreign Bible Society of England and Wales, James previously worked in commercial publishing, is Chairman of RENOVARÉ Britain and Ireland, and is a trustee of InterVarsity Press, the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity, Premier Radio, and Prison Fellowship.
David DeRoos
Dave is the President and owner of Citygate Associates, a management consulting firm founded in 1990 and headquartered in Folsom (CA) that conducts organization studies, performance audits, and leadership development training projects primarily for public sector agencies throughout the western United States.
Marti Ensign
A missionary in Africa for many years-where she learned the art of storytelling and often returns to translate and minister—Marti is an ordained minister and the former Director of Women in Medicine and Dentistry for the Christian Medical and Dental Society.
Rosalyn Falcon Collier
Co-Founder of the interfaith peaceCENTER (San Antonio) and a graduate of the Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation, Rosalyn designs and facilitates Conflict Engagement and Transformative Mediation skillshops and presentations dealing with creative non-violence in multi-cultural situations.
Richard J. Foster
The author of six books including Celebration of Discipline, PRAYER: Finding the Heart's True Home, Streams of Living Water, and Life With God, and the lead editor of The Renovaré Spiritual Formation Bible, Richard is the founder of RENOVARÉ and speaks throughout the world on Christian spirituality.
Roger Fredrikson
A retired pastor and author of God Loves the Dandelions, The Church That Refused to Die, and John of the Communicator's Commentary Series, Roger travels the world from his home base of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, speaking on church and pastoral renewal and reconciliation.
Robert Gelinas
The Lead Pastor of Colorado Community Church (Denver) and a graduate of Denver Seminary, Robert is the Founder of Project 1:27, which encourages adoptions for children in Colorado’s foster care system, and is the author of Finding the Groove: Composing a Jazz Shaped Faith.
Emilie Griffin
A speaker, author, and longtime broadcast producer, Emilie's books on the life of the spirit include Wonderful and Dark is This Road, Doors Into Prayer, Turning, Clinging, The Reflective Executive, Homeward Voyage, and Wilderness Time, and she is the editor of the HarperCollins Spiritual Classics series.
Deborah Hanus
A teacher, spiritual director, and Director of the Center For Spiritual Growth and the Contemplative Life (San Antonio), Deborah has a DMin from the Graduate Theological Foundation (South Bend, IN), has served for 20 years in the San Antonio Catholic and Ecumenical community, and is published widely.
Kathryn A. Helmers
A literary agent for 12 years with a primary focus on Christian spirituality for the general market, Kathy has overseen and co-authored numerous book projects, including two with Richard J. Foster, Life with God: Reading the Bible for Spiritual Transformation and Celebrating the Disciplines.
Ann Helmke
An ordained Lutheran and the Animating Director for the peaceCENTER (San Antonio), Anne has co-authored several books including Jesus’ Path to Peace and Peace Is Our BirthRight, and is a professor at University of the Incarnate Word in the Religious Studies department, teaching "Biblical Themes" and "Prayer and Spirituality."
Todd Hunter
Todd is the Founder of The Society for Kingdom Living, previously held the positions of President of Alpha-USA and the National Director of the Association of Vineyard Churches, USA, and is presently helping plant a community of faith in Eagle, Idaho.
Brian Kang
The Director of RENOVARÉ Korea, Brian serves both English and Korean speaking Christians from diverse backgrounds, being a bridge connecting Christians to RENOVARÉ in Korea and the United States.
Joshua Choonmin Kang
Senior Pastor of the Oriental Mission Church, Los Angeles, and Professor of Spiritual Formation and Theology at World Mission University, Pastor Kang is a well-known author and speaker, has published Deep-Rooted in Christ: The Way of Transformation (his first English book), and is called the "Richard Foster" of Korean book publishing.

Tina Karagulian
With over 20 years experience as an artist, individual therapist, and facilitator of creative and healing workshops, Tina exhibited her altars at "One People, Many Paths: The Sacred Art of Altars" in San Antonio, and contributed her spiritual writing on the Armenian Genocide to Insights on the Journey: Trauma, Healing, & Wholeness.

Sylvia Maddox
Co-Author of Holy Companions: Spiritual Practices from the Celtic Saints, Sylvia teaches Prayer and Spirituality at The University of the Incarnate Word (San Antonio) and has led numerous retreats and workshops on connecting spiritual formation to all parts of life.
Jeanie Miley
A graduate of the Spiritual Direction Institute of the Cenacle Retreat Center (Houston), a spiritual director, and a facilitator for Centering Prayer workshops and groups, Jeanie is a columnist and the author of eight books, including Sitting Strong: Wrestling With the Ornery God and Joining Forces: Balancing Masculine and Feminine.
Rita Minkley
With a Master of Arts degree in Religious Studies from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C., for 40 years Rita has ministered in Roman Catholic parishes and on the diocesan level in all areas of religious education, as a Catholic pastoral administrator, and as a retreat leader and spiritual director.
Gary Moon
Vice President and Chair of Integration at the Psychological Studies Institute in Atlanta, Georgia, Gary founded (with David Benner and Larry Crabb) Conversations: A Forum for Authentic Transformation, and has authored three books, including Falling for God: Saying Yes to His Extravagant Proposal.
Kai Nilsen
For almost 20 years Kai has served as a pastor to larger Lutheran congregations and has a deep desire for ministry partnerships across denominational lines. He is the co-author, with his family, of For Everything a Season: 75 Blessings for Daily Life, a book encouraging families to speak and live faith with one another.
John Ortberg
The pastor of Menlo Park Presbyterian Church, Menlo Park, California, John is the author of many books, including God Is Closer Than You Think, The Life You’ve Always Wanted, and If You Want to Walk on Water, You've Got to Get Out of the Boat, and is the husband of Nancy and father of three children.
Eduardo Rosa Pedreira
The Director of RENOVARÉ Brazil, Eduardo has a ThD in Theology from Pontificia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, is the co-editor of The Best of Brazilian Spirituality, which was the Brazilian Christian Publishing Book-of-the-Year for 2007, and is the pastor for Comunidade Presbiteriana da Barra da Tijuca in Rio de Janeiros, Brazil.
Eugene Peterson
A local pastor for over twenty-five years and Professor Emeritus of Spiritual Theology at Regent College, Eugene is the author of over thirty books, including The Message, a contemporary translation of the Bible, Christ Plays in Ten Thousand Places, Eat This Book, A Long Obedience in the Same Direction, and The Contemplative Pastor.
Juanita Rasmus
Inspirational speaker, motivational teacher, author, and seminar/retreat facilitator, Juanita is Co-pastor of Saint John's United Methodist Church and works with the Bread of Life Homeless Project, which serves over 6,000 meals each month in downtown Houston, Texas.
  Joe Roher
Pastor Emeritus of Friendswood Friends Church (Texas), Joe has served Quaker congregations for the past forty years and presently leads retreats and practices spiritual direction in various settings.
Glenna Sabin
With over 30 years of teaching experience in the fine arts, developing and leading classes, workshops, programs, retreats, and events, Glenna is a student of spirituality and movement, having participated in "The Spiritual Formation Summit" (2002) and "Congregations in Bloom" (2003 and 2004).
  Edwin and Patsy Sasek
First introduced to walking the labyrinth in 1998 and having traveled to France to walk the labyrinth at Chartres Cathedral, Edwin (hospice chaplain/spiritual director) and Patsy (owner of Mustard Seed Designs) are both artists, writers, and retreat leaders and have led many groups in spiritual and artistic experiences related to the labyrinth.

Barbara Schutz
With training in spiritual direction from The Center for Spiritual Growth and the Contemplative Life (San Antonio), since 1991 Barbara has offered faith formation training and retreats for students and youth ministry volunteers through the SW Texas Synod of the ELCA and Lutheran Campus Ministry at the University of Texas—Austin.

A passionate pilgrim who enjoys encouraging others as they follow Christ, Sean has served as a pastor and church planter in Texas and currently lives in San Antonio, where he is an occasional insurance salesman and fulltime dad to Fletch and Ellie.
  Russell Emmett Sherman
Describing himself as an "evangelical-catholic-contemplative-charismatic," Russ grew up in New York spending summers as the ring-boy on his Grandfather's Coney Island carousel, and these days serves as a parish priest, spiritual director, and hospice chaplain in San Antonio.
Wayne Shuffield
Director of the Missions, Evangelism, and Ministry Office for the Baptist General Convention of Texas, for 33 years Wayne has served local churches and church leaders as a pastor, evangelism specialist, leadership and administration consultant, professor, author, and conference speaker.
George Skramstad
As worship leader, practitioner, composer, and clinician, George has built worship ministries in Toledo, Ohio; Phoenix, Arizona; and Wichita, Kansas, presently serves at Crossings Community Church, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and has taught several graduate-level courses.

With a background in retail business and inner-city ministry, Lyle has been involved with RENOVARÉ in one respect or another for over a decade, is currently the RENOVARÉ Coordinator, and with Felicia, his spouse, is a contributor to The Renovaré Spiritual Formation Bible.
Donna Strieb
An ordained Deacon, consultant, and workshop and retreat leader, Donna serves as Pastor of Prayer and Spiritual Formation at Alamo Heights United Methodist Church (San Antonio) where, under her leadership, prayer has become a priority for the church, especially in the area of healing.
Siang Yang Tan
Senior Pastor at First Evangelical Church, Glendale, California, and Professor of Psychology at Fuller Seminary, Siang Yang has authored numerous books, including Lay Counseling, Managing Chronic Pain, and Rest, and co-authored Disciplines of the Holy Spirit.
Donn Thomas
An ordained minister, Donn is a self-described "musicianary" (musician, composer, missionary). He has recorded the albums Live Wires, Urban Hope, and Real People, and pastors Messiah World Outreach in Stone Mountain, Georgia.
Enedina Casarez Vasquez
A poet, playwright, and visual artist, Enedina served as Poet-In-Residence of the San Antonio Independent School District from 1990-1996, has won numerous awards for her poems and plays, has been published in Caracol, Mujeres Grande Anthology, Artist's Alliance, and Tonatzin, and leads poetry and writing workshops.
William Vaswig
The Founder and President of Preaching and Prayer Ministries, Bill is an ordained minister, designated as an evangelist in the Lutheran Church, and is author of I Prayed, He Answered and At Your Word, Lord.
Chris Webb
The recently appointed President of RENOVARÉ, Chris received his theological training from Trinity College in Bristol, England, has served as an Anglican Vicar in various churches in Wales, held several administrative posts with the Church of Wales, and now lives with wife Sally and their four children in Colorado.
Dallas Willard
Professor of Philosophy at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, Dallas is an ordained Southern Baptist minister and has written several books including Hearing God, The Spirit of the Disciplines, The Divine Conspiracy, Renovation of the Heart, and The Great Omission.
Gayle Withnell
With two degrees in education and years of experience as a public school teacher, Gayle naturally gravitates toward teaching Bible studies and speaking at gatherings, and uses her special gifting of intercession for several ministries.
