Serving as a bridge between traditional Bible study, reading of devotional classics, and larger spiritual formation/intentional discipleship themes and ideas, the first four volumes of the RENOVARÉ Spiritual Formation Guides series are now available. With the 15 expressions of the With-God Life as introduced in the Renovaré Spiritual Formation Bible as inspiration, Connecting with God corresponds to the "The People of God in Individual Communion" expression, Prayer and Worship uses "The People of God in Prayer and Worship" for inspiration, Learning from Jesus draws from "The People of God with Immanuel" for insight, and Living the Mission utilizes "The People of God on Mission." Formatted similarly to the much-used RENOVARÉ A Spiritual Formation Workbook, books in the series are accessible to individuals or small groups. The 12 chapters in each book include:
• Devotional Reading, featuring historic and contemporary authors;
• My Life With God Exercise, with a unique spiritual discipline for each session;
• Scripture Reading, which serves as the heart of the session content;
• Getting the Picture and Going Deeper, providing context and spiritual formation teaching;
• Pointing to God, an historical Christian as discipleship exemplar;
• Taking it Further, resources, disciplines, and questions for further reflection and study; and
• Margin Instructions, to maintain the RENOVARÉ tact of leaderless small groups.

The series authors are Lynda L. Graybeal, longtime RENOVARÉ Administrator and Renovaré Bible General Editor, and Julia L. Roller, Renovaré Bible Managing Editor. Julia and Lynda are presently working on the next two books in the series, to correspond with the Renovaré Bible With-God Life expressions "The People of God Become a Family" (Genesis 12-50) and "The People of God in Community" (The Epistles). The remaining books will be introduced regularly in the next few years.
